Changing the Exterior Open the monitor by using the control or monitor block. Use the white arrows to change the exterior type. Use the purple arrows to change the exterior variant. To save your changes, click “Apply”. You’re also able to add your own custom exteriors with Datapacks. Changing the Interior Open the monitor by using the control or monitor block. Navigate to the interior change screen by clicking “Desktop Settings” -> “Change Interior”.

how do I change the exterior in 1.1.0?

You right-click on the monitor (either on the console, the buildable monitor block or wall-monitor), then you can immediately see the current exterior in the top right.

Clicking on the arrows goes through the different exterior types.
Clicking on the smaller arrows below that will change between variants.
Clicking on the "Apply" button will apply the selected exterior.

1.0.1? by 1.0.1 you mean the base ait 1.0.1 release that happened a real LONG time ago or do you mean the forge 1.0.1 release?

a snag I'm in at the moment: every time i change the interior of the Tardis it locks me out but doesn't stop or unlock. I've had to force it by teleporting inside and restarting my world.
