Can't get past telemetry in first step. Please Help.

I have disabled telemetry on my system with DOTNET_CLI_TELEMETRY_OPTOUT=1 but it still asks me to add a line to the hosts file and to disable telemetry. Please advise next steps.

I'm having the same problem but on ubuntu lunar. Giving password for admin in the launcher to disable telemetry doesn't work.

Edit: Finally got it to work. Adding this to /etc/hosts manually finally allowed me to get pass telemetry:

0.0.0.0 log-upload-os.hoyoverse.com
0.0.0.0 sg-public-data-api.hoyoverse.com
0.0.0.0 dump.gamesafe.qq.com
