How should I change to use the light mode?

I'm facing the same issue, I just noticed that there's a media query for that:
@media (prefers-color-scheme: light){ ... } in _variables.scss

However, how to trigger it its is unknown for me atm 😞

@1a1a11a . So just to come back to this, I was experimenting with the theme. (I'm no expert on Jekyll or Ruby) but it seems that if you specify the following file:
<project-root/_sass/_variables.scss
You would overwrite the file that the gem (package) attempts to load for your project.

Therefore, all it takes apparently is to modify the original file that contains the dark mode, the rest stays the same, so copy the file at _variables.scss , delete lines 151 to 268 and create it at the location I specified earlier.
