1.2 Problem Statement: Enablement of Drive Mode Application for Road Safety
It demands the understanding of the challenges of curtailing the distraction a mobile phone poses while behind the wheel. The solution does the legwork to connect all the functions you need, making them available precisely when you need them.
1.3 Objective: To minimize the risk of using mobile phones while driving. The app uses GPS functionality to track the “Real-time Speed” of the user and accordingly set the ringing-profile (Ringing/Silent/Vibration/DND). Its main feature is auto enablement of “Driving Mode” on crossing a certain speed limit that boasts of features like “Blocking incoming calls”, “Silent SMS bearing Caller details”, “Immediate Text-to-Speech”, “Voice Recognition”.
