EraseConvo

A simple Chrome / Edge Chromium extension to unsend all conversations.

May not work as intended since I did not maitain this project in a while.

EraseConvo is a Chrome extension that automatically unsends every message you have in a messenger conversation. Unlike other extensions, which only hide the messages from the user's inbox , EraseConvo will remove messages from the RECEIVER'S inbox as well.

Open a messenger thread , hit 'Remove' and grab a coffee. While you're gone , the extension will click on every 'unsend message' button , leaving behind no trail at all.

After using EraseConvo, you won't be able to access your conversations anymore.

Installation

• Download the .crx file here.
• Go to chrome://extensions or edge://extensions in your browser.
• Drop the .crx file right here and you're done!

If the above method doesn't work !

• Download the Source Code here.
• Extract the EraseConvo-1.0.0.zip file.
• Go to chrome://extensions or edge://extensions in your browser and hit "Load unpacked extension...".
• Select the uncompressed EraseConvo-1.0.0 folder and you are good to go!

Usage

• In order to perform this extension as intended , this has to be used on a conversation thread on domain messenger.com/t/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx denotes a messenger conversation id here)
• This extension won't work on any domain other than messenger.com. For example, you can not remove your conversations using this extension on domain facebook.com or facebook.com/messages.
