Hello everyone,
I'm encountering an issue while trying to automate the post-processing of a CFD simulation (aorta model) using PyFluent (specifically with Fluent 23.1).
The goal is to export the Wall Shear Stress (WSS) field, available in Fluent as wall-shear, into a CGNS file for the wall surface (aorta_wall) only. The goal is to export the fields for Wall Shear Stress (WSS), Pressure (Static Pressure), and Velocity Magnitude into a CGNS file for the wall surface (aorta_wall) only. Despite using the direct TUI command, the scalar data is not being included.
solver.tui.file.export.cgns(
output_cgns_path,
[],
"surface",
["aorta_wall"], # usa il nome della data surface
False,
"hdf5",
['wall-shear']
)
The issue is that, in this specific Fluent/PyFluent version (V23.1), the TUI positional arguments are either being misinterpreted or the prompt for the scalar list is skipped entirely, resulting in a mesh-only export. Which could be the solution?
