Is date the name of an existing column in your database schema? If so, you may want to quote it with ` like this:

    filter: `date` >= 20230101

i have tried it , but got error from cdc : 😭

Sorry, I forgot the YAML parsing rules. It says a string literal could not start with `, so wrapping the entire line with quotes should be fine:

transform:
  - source-table: db.record
    filter: "`date` >= 20230101"
