Group Management in Apache Kyuubi - Alternative to HadoopGroupProvider

I am exploring group management in Apache Kyuubi and found that HadoopGroupProvider is the only available option. I wanted to check if there are any other built-in mechanism or alternative approaches for managing groups in Kyuubi.
If not, is there anything planned in upcoming releases to introduce a different flavour of group management than Hadoop.
