Snappy Java/Kafka Support (?)

Hello,

First, thank you for writing this module. It is the simplest to get started with of the many Kafka node.js modules that I've tried so far and perhaps more importantly: it appears to be working. Unfortunately, I seem to have hit a roadblock in attempting to consume a Kafka topic that is being produced by Java and compressed with Snappy.

I have tried the node-snappy module to decompress this data as it comes in through Kafkaesque, but it seems to be malformed according to this module. Of course, this is not a problem with the Kafkaesque module, but I thought since Kafka originates from the land of Java you might have run into this before. Any ideas?
