4.0 version Menu #375

Hello, Sorry but, it's not an issue so I'm moving it as a discussion.
That's right. The Power menu (02/68) allows you to select a level from LOW 1, LOW 2, LOW 3, LOW 4, LOW 5, MID, HIGH, and USER. Since power is a per-channel setting, you can, for example, assign LOW1 to memory channel M1 and MID to memory channel M2. If you choose USER, you can fine-tune the power level using the SetPwr menu (57/68). Important... when set to USER, the power level defined in SetPwr (57/68) will apply to all memory channels configured with USER power mode.
I don’t understand. The menus for DCS and CTCSS are ALREADY in the main menu (and not in hidden menu). They are also per-channel settings, which is why they are at the beginning of the list : RxDCS (03/68), RxCTCS (04/68), TxDCS (05/68), TxCTCS (06/68). Armel, F4HWN. |

Hello Armel,
I just explored the menu settings and noticed that there are two Power settings available on the main menu, with one of them including an additional "User" option. Additionally, I would like to kindly suggest that features such as DCS, CTCSS, and others be included in the main menu rather than the hidden menu. However, if there are specific reasons for the current menu arrangement, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share those with us.
Thank you
