Follow System Timer Sound

The app should use the timer sound that is set in the clock app.

Seems like it's time for me to think about adding some settings to the app.

Thanks for the idea, but here is a small question. Currently the timer plays a short "Ding" and then automatically hides the notification, which wouldn't be the case if an external sound were used. I mean, it would probably be very long, and the auto-hide functionality wouldn't really apply here. Do I understand correctly that you would also like a "Stop" button or something?

I think the timer should work like the timer in the clock app

ditto for the request, and a stop button would make sense! so you don't forget it bing'd or miss it when you're afk for a sec and return

Honestly, the whole point of this app was to make it not the same as the clock app, and the auto-dismiss feature was something I personally wanted when I started working on it. However, since there's demand, I'll probably extend the functionality and make both options available. It's gonna take some time, I’ll keep you updated.

I have been looking for a timer like this for years! It should be a native Android function. The clock/timer apps are too much of a hassle to find and configure just to remember something in a few minutes. (I actually bought little physical timers because an app like this didn't exist.) That said, you should definitely extend the functionality. I'd like a different alarm sound.

I've already done a bit of work on this, but right now my Arrow project takes almost all of my time.

I hope I'll be able to get back to the Timer soon.
