Type F prototype board design, using TQFP-32 but can be redesigned to VQFN-28. Manufacturing cost for PCBA prototype, excluding MCU and socket, is estimated at $70 for 5 pieces. |

Circuit diagram design proposal currently under consideration.
Type-F (FRISK) size. Portable type that uses an empty Pocket Candy box or stores in a dedicated 3DP case. 28P/32P chip. Full UPDI/TPI/PDI/HV capabilities. With VCP indicator LED. This is the reference design.
Type-EHVB. Approximately the size of a credit card. Expansion board for mounting Curiosity Nano. Full UPDI/TPI/PDI/HV capabilities. Only this type has FTDI compatible pin headers and supports DTR/CTS signals.
Type-14P. Minimum required functions to support UPDI/TPI/PDI. Bus power only. VTG is 5V only. HV control is not supported.
Type 20P. Between full spec and 14P. For bus power, but VTG can be switched between 5V/3.3V. Intended for board designs that can be mounted directly on a breadboard.
The 14P and 20P no longer support debug builds, but have been redesigned to support TPI and PDI. The 14P has a slightly more complex design, with the VTxD and XCLK signals synthesized from two pins.
To accommodate this in the near future, the base configuration file will be redesigned and the RS232 support code in the VCP will be disabled.
