Internet Explorer 6 SP1 Active Setup patch

I've successfully reanimated web-based (~500KB) installers of MS Internet Explorer 6 SP1.

1. Online installers: https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://download.microsoft.com/download/ie6sp1/finrel/6_sp1/* (look for ie6setup.exe via search box).
2. Traffic edit set, need to fix download paths:

This edit set will be included in WebOne v0.12.4 or v0.13 and upper versions.

What about IE 4.x/5.x installers?

Tried some other IE versions.

IE4
It's using http://www.microsoft.com/ie/ie40/download/rtw/x86/IE4SITES.DAT file, which is similar to IE6. It is common for 4.0, 4.01 SP1. The file contains 471 mirrors! It's easier to save the file with CSV extension, and look it via Excel. But, sadly, none of HTTP mirrors seems to be alive or archived. Interesting that in the 471-row list, there are no mirrors on microsoft.com. Only third-party locations.

IE4 SP2
Site list database is moved to another path: http://www.microsoft.com/IE/IE401/DOWNLOAD/SP2/x86/IE4SITES.DAT. However, it's almost similar to previous. And the problem is same.

There also few other addresses, requested by other found IE4SETUP.EXE apps:

• http://www.zenon.net/ie4site/RU/ie4site/IE4SITES.DAT
• http://www.aha.ru/ie4site/EN/WIN95_NT/ie4site/IE4SITES.DAT

IE5
Uses FTP to download file list, so cannot be used. Also seems that it also wasn't Microsoft-hosted, so probably we'll get same problem as with IE4.

IE5.01
Same.

IE5.5
It is more similar to IE6, but site database (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/ie/ie55/download/rtw/x86/ie5sites.dat) still lost.

Summary
We can simplify & enhance at same time the edit set:

But it is still need to locate files of IE4 over HTTP (there are live places over FTP in 2022, easily finding by mmnt.ru or similar, but HTTP is more compatible with WebOne), and ie5sites.dat for IE5.5.

Probably, this is a bad idea, as third-party ie?sites.dat also gets edited by WebOne. So this will prevent web-installation of some 3-rd-party IE versions if they will be created.

Included the initial version of the edit set to WebOne 0.13.0.

Found that MSIE 5.x and 6.0 is still alive at Microsoft Windows Update servers. Files at
http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/ie55sp2/x86/en/*.* are still available for ie55sp2, ie55sp1, ie55rtw, ie55mil, ie501sp2, ie501sp1, ie501, ie50b, and files at http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/Update/v3/static/{87F13BC5-36A6-2957-6BE6-82025364741F}/ie6sp1/x86/en/*.* for IE 6.0 SP1 too. All or almost all languages are available.

So it is enough to made a correct IE5SITES.DAT file, refer it in IEBATCH.TXT placed together IE5SETUP.EXE (in [Downloadsite] -> Downloadsitelist option), and just run the Installer. Then it will download anything need self.

Another way (stabler) is also via IEBATCH.TXT, by setting [Downloadsite] ->DownloadLocation to an valid for used locale path of setup files. But this cannot be do via proxy at all as IE5SITES file wouldn't be used.

Initially I've made common IE5SETUP.DAT for all 5.x versions. The versions select is appear, but the installer is trying to download from random locations, and some files became invalid. So created different IE5SITES.DAT file for each version.

Also manual discovering found "ie5" and "ie50a" versions of IE. Only "ie5" is lost from Microsoft servers, but ie50a/ie50b still present for some languages. IE 6.00.2600 also is lost (unlike 6 SP1), so looking for it. All IE4 versions too are wanted.
