Code of Conduct

The Student Benefits project is committed to providing an inclusive and respectful environment for all contributors and participants, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs. We aim to create a welcoming and collaborative space for everyone involved.

Our Standards

We expect all participants in the Student Benefits project to adhere to the following standards:

  • Be Respectful: Treat all individuals with respect and kindness, regardless of differences in opinion, background, or experience.

  • Be Inclusive: Embrace diversity and inclusion. We welcome contributions from people of all backgrounds and experiences.

  • Be Collaborative: Foster a collaborative and supportive environment. Value the input and ideas of others.

  • Be Open-Minded: Listen to others' perspectives and remain open to constructive criticism and feedback.

  • Be Considerate: Remember that your actions and words can impact others. Strive to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind.
  • Offensive, derogatory, or discriminatory comments and actions.
  • Any form of trolling or personal attacks.
  • Violation of privacy or personal boundaries.
  • Disruptive behavior that hinders productive discussions.
  • Any behavior that violates the rights of others or the project's values.

Reporting and Enforcement

If you encounter behavior that you believe violates the Code of Conduct, please report it to the project maintainers at saumitrakapoor24@gmail.com. All reports will be kept confidential. The maintainers are committed to addressing and resolving issues promptly and fairly.

Participants who engage in behavior contrary to this Code of Conduct may be temporarily or permanently excluded from project interactions, discussions, and contributions.
