When viewing an album's track list, or a playlist, it should be possible to to see at least track duration/album duration, possibly even other information like file format, genre etc.

The best solution IMO would be the flexible solution; to leave that to the discretion of the user as we might not have the same preferences of what is important about an album. For example, it's a pet peeve of mine for music players to show things like artist name as a second line after the track name when displaying the tracklist of an album. (yes, subtracks does it too!) I do not care about the featuring artists that happens about 1 out of 100 tracks when it doubles the screen estate necessary per track on the UI . It would be great to have a way to remove this kind of cluttering from the interface. Musicolet is the only one with a decent interface that I saw using this kind of compact play lists in UI rather than the two lines norm you see everywhere these days but alas, it cant use online servers so here i am lol.
And I think format/genre gets a bit more detailed and can change track to track, should be on the track details, not on the album page itself. Cause what you do if not all tracks are flac? or not all tracks are jazz?
