Code of Conduct

Purpose

This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participation within the Avail community, as well as steps for reporting unacceptable behavior. We are committed to providing a welcoming and inspiring community for all.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contribute to a positive environment include:

  • Respectfulness: Being considerate, and respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences.
  • Empathy: Showing empathy towards others.
  • Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other community members.
  • Professionalism: Maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Responsibility: Taking responsibility for our actions and the effects they have on the community.

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment: Any form of verbal or written harassment or bullying.
  • Discrimination: Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or other protected status.
  • Personal Attacks: Personal or political attacks.
  • Public or Private Harassment: Harassment in any form.
  • Other Conduct: Any conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Reporting & Enforcement

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please report it by contacting the project team in our Discord and take appropriate action. All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.
