Insert confirmation (Yes/No) before creating a "New Workitem"

Would it be possible to insert a Yes/No confirmation before a new workitem is created ?

Thx, hope it can be done quickly.
Main background behind it is that in case on the initial workitem, the button is clicked to create a related item, the new item is immediately stored. So if it was pressed by accident, you can end up with many unwanted related items.
