Needed a customizable touchscreen interface for my outdoor computer. AwesomeWM can do anything it seems...

Looks good :-) I used https://github.com/chinese-soup/awesome-osk/blob/master/osk.lua as a base and improved upon that. The result still has a bug with using more than one modifier key (Ctrl + Shift for example). Also I do not have an F1-F12 row yet. Need to rubato it so it slides up and down. Work in progress, but already functions well and its perfectly usable.

btw i've just realized that making on-screen keyboard with those help messages could make a tiling WM experience on touch devices quite enjoyful for the new users

wow this is one of the more interesting implementations of a complex AwesomeWM configuration I have come across in my beyond obsessive-compulsive fixation on the topic. Excellent job, great idea and keep on with the keeping on my friend!

The screen locker is an awesome wm widget.
The gtk theme is in my dotfiles repo inside misc folder

Minimal config. Nearly every default feature stripped out.

• Practically no mouse support
• No right click menu
• No toolbars
• No boarders
• No floating windows (expect for tor)
• No buttons
• No theme
• No dmenu
• Only one type of layout

I wanted a setup that pretty much only splits the screen into arrangements of halves and quarters or just fullscreen. No wasted space on toolbars. Nothing to click on. Everything is hotkeys. If there is an application I want to launch I will launch it from zsh or bind it to a key.

Super Neovim+tmux+zsh focused. Configured to move between Vim windows, Tmux panes, and Awesome clients all with the same keybindings, making them all act like the same application.

Image provided contains the Brave browser, Zathura pdf viewer, and st terminal emulator in Neovim through a tmux session.

That's the difficult part. It's a really tightly knit system of things I can't simply untie, but feel free to take a look at my dotfiles, they're public but have little explanation. You'll find the awesome rc files in the "public" branch. It involves a bit more than just awesome's config to work, and to be quite frank with you, I don't even know the dependencies.
