Motivation

I want to write with emoji and other symbols, but I don't have an app to do this for me. I may also have quirks in my typing that are hard for me to correct (e.g. "teh" when meaning to type "the"), and I'd like a way for the app to help correct it while I'm typing.

Design

Config panel somewhere for associating text input with the replacement.

Shortcuts for generated replacement text like dates and time.

This can be done by turning on the feature in CKEditor, so might as well.
