rasberry pi3b shortage

Hi,
I would like to build a stratux system.
I see that the price of rasberry pi3 B is around 160 tot 250 euro on diverse online shop sites.
Normal price was 35-40 euros.
Many other shops don't have a rasberry pi available, out of stock message almost everywhere.

1. Do you have any idea when this lack of rasberry pi's will be solved?
2. Is it a ok to buy a second hand pi3B ? they are still available for 50-60 euro.
3. Do I need to do anything special with a used rasberry pi, erase the ram memory or something, before I can use it for the stratux system ?

1. No one knows! 2. Yes it’s not a problem to use a secondhand one 3. Format the micro sd card, if it comes with one or buy a new micro sd card for it. Hope that helps!

Thanks, another question:
Concerning the flarm equiped aircraft which i should receive on 868mhz with a stratux (after retunung the sdr which is 978mhz standard tuned , correct?)
How come in a Rosetta FlightAware device, users need to pay a yearly subscription to be able to see this flarm traffic, and with a stratux it should be visible without any subscription?

Becaus PilotAware is a commercial product and Stratux is an open source project.

Ok, so it has nothing to do with the flarm company then, but just FlightAware that decided to use an annual subscription for users who want to see flarm-targets ? No, PilotAware charges an annual fee for all users. Flarm included in that (but IIRC only via ground stations). Or dis the change that recently?
