Which SDR sources are possible?

My understanding is that stratux itself have no impact on the SDR source and relay on the sources that are included in dump1090.
Is that correct ?
Anyway: What do you think about implementing SoapySDR as source to be able to use other hardware, too?

That is correct. However, Stratux has to start dump1090 with specific parameters:

And since they are hardcoded, this will fail with anything but an RTLSDR.

EDIT: Also, the dump1090 binary that ships with Stratux only has RTLSDR support compiled in right now, IIRC.

Well, is there anything that would break if I

1. change the dump1090 to https://github.com/rsadsb/dump1090_rs that has soapy-sdr build in
2. adapt the execution command in lin 76 to use the new dump1090 ?

Feel free to try it. If the intention is to upstream it, thorough testing is needed though
