How to remove duplicated icons and programs

I installed using the commands shown in the readme:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/indicator-kdeconnect
sudo apt update
sudo apt install kdeconnect indicator-kdeconnect

But now, I have two icons for the indicator in the status bar

The one on the right is the icon for this project.

Also when I try to launch the indicator, I get too many programs showing:

Also I see multiple options in nautilus menu for file sharing

Is there a way to fix this so that I can remove the old indicator and leave the new one installed, and also remove all the duplicated options?
