Just installed KDE Connect on my system and phone and are trying to troubleshoot my issues. All other menu options work as one would expect, but the Browse/Browse by Folders and Send SMS options seem to register a click in the menu but do nothing without producing errors (unlike in previous issues which threw Python exceptions).
For reference, I'm on Ubuntu MATE 18.04, using this PPA (https://launchpad.net/~flexiondotorg/+archive/ubuntu/indicator-kdeconnect) and the version of KDEConnect available from from the main repos. Please advise on any further troubleshooting steps I can take.

Hi, that version in the PPA is more up to date (and more unstable) which may be the cause of that issue. Or maybe the packaging was done poorly. I'm not sure.
For me the issue with sms is that "sms" gets installed in @Prefix@/bin as it should, but indicator looks for it in /bin/sms. If you have root do 'ln -s /usr/bin/sms /bin/sms` to see if you have the same issue.
I can't seem to track down where in the build system this goes wrong tho sorry
File browsing works for me. Have you setup a folder on your android device ?
