Hooking issues (VS Code - Claude Code Hooks not being set)

👋 great idea! however, i'm unable to make it work somehow with Claude. I'm using Claude within visual studio, and the small "Accept this plan" dialog still shows, no change, no browser window opening. I've tried loading up plans manually in plannotator but it understands this as a code review skill invocation (this works).

Btw would be useful precisely to be able to load up plan files, i'm using sessions and sometimes plans have been elaborated in other sesssions.

I will have to test this setup with vs code.

Generally the hooks should be in place if you installed the plugin via marketplace (Within Claude Code).

Yes so the setup is working in the CLI but not in the VSCode extension.
Adding the hook manually did the trick, thanks!

My testing hooks only seem to be working if I use the terminal within VSCode. But this native VSCode chat doesn't seem to fire hooks.

I'll create an issue in Claude Code github. I'm not sure how much more I can do here.
