🚨 [Urgent] Batear Wired Edition: Ethernet/PoE support for high-interference (EW) zones

🌍 Humanitarian Request from Ukraine

We have received a direct request from frontline engineers in Ukraine. In active conflict zones, Electronic Warfare (EW) jamming renders wireless protocols like LoRa, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth completely unreliable.

To ensure Batear can continue saving lives by detecting drone threats, we are officially pivoting to develop a "Wired Edition" using TCP/IP via Ethernet.

🛠 Project Roadmap: Batear-Wired

1. Communication Architecture

  • From Wireless to Wired: Moving from LoRa Mesh to stable Ethernet (TCP/IP).
  • Low Latency Alerts: Implementing lightweight UDP/TCP packets for real-time acoustic signature transmission.
  • Static Node Addressing: Reliable identification of sensor nodes in a hardwired network.

2. Hardware Specifications

  • Core: ESP32-S3 .
  • Connectivity: Ethernet controllers (e.g., LAN8720, W5500).
  • Power: PoE (Power over Ethernet) support to allow single-cable deployment (Data + Power) for rapid field setup.
  • Target Boards: WT32-ETH01, LILYGO T-ETH-Lite, or custom S3 + Ethernet shields.

3. Strategic Advantages

  • Jamming Resistance: Zero interference from radio jammers.
  • Scalability: Connect multiple nodes via standard industrial switches.
  • Stealth: No RF signature, making the detection nodes "invisible" to radio direction-finding equipment.

"Writing code to save lives" is no longer a slogan—it's our current sprint. 🚀🦇
