It would be helpful if a similar feature could be added to herd.yml. When running herd init, it would check that the DBs/buckets exist, and create them if they do not.
It's not hard to create a DB or a bucket manually, but if you have 20 projects, it can be a little annoying to keep everybody in sync. Particularly because the MinIO distribution doesn't include the mc utility out-of-the-box, so it's hard to script!
This might end up being the same as #1084 -- if we can run commands after herd init, those could probably create DBs/buckets...?

Laravel Homestead's config file allowed users to configure a list of buckets to create in Minio, and a list of DBs to create in Postgres.
