Remote link doesn't work with symlinks

I've got a folder /common/client in my repo, that's referenced via /service1/client/common symlink. When I open a file in the linking folder and run the copy_remote_url command, I get the url:

https://github.com/[org]/[repo]/blob/[branch]/service1/client/common/[file]`

This url yields a 404 error. The correct behavior would be to expand the symlink:

https://github.com/[org]/[repo]/blob/[branch]/common/client/[file]`
