Here are some things that need to be documented:

What role is used for an alignment? What other conventions are there?

What is the granularity of alignment files? Can you have one for the entire Bible? Can you divide them by book or other units?

These decisions have already been made. We need to reflect them in the documentation and examples.

Are we agreed that the role for the alignment file is timings?
Are we agreed that the granularity of alignment files is open? You could have a single alignment file or divide them however you like?
The relationship between alignment files and audio files can be many-to-many. It would only be by convention we restrict this. To what extent do we want to?
