CB1/PI4 Adapter + Pi Cam?

I just got the pi4b and cb1 and bought an inland IR cam for a pi, it gets power but isn't showing up on anything. Does the port not work? I keep seeing some people say it didn't but some say it does now.

The issue is the CB1, as it doesn't have the DSI/CSI pins hooked up, so it's a hardware issue in that sense, or at least this is how I've understood it from countless hours researching the CB1.
