Does not seem to work with GNU Radio 3.7

Not sure if you're still interested in maintaining this or care, but from what I can tell it's not working for GNU Radio 3.7. I hear they switched some APIs or something (I've never written anything for GNU Radio and I don't really know). I'd fix it if I had the ability and time, but I don't so I'm just filing a bug and crossing my fingers.

there's a branch that purports to work with 3.7 here: https://github.com/mattcarberry/gr-smartnet

i've also started my own fork which will see some work in the next few weeks

Just for clarification: gr-smartnet should be considered abandonware at this point and is not maintained. The existing structure of the project is more suited for reimplementation rather than revision.

I'm happy to provide advice and guidance to potential contributors but don't currently have the time or motivation to rewrite this project.
