각자 브랜치를 따서 개발한 후에 merge 방식으로 할지..
아니면 각자 fork 떠서 개발을 한 후 pull request를 할지...

일단 fork 떠서 개발을 한 후 pull request 방법으로 진행해 보시죠.
그리고, 어느 정도 전체 코드에 대한 공감이나 이해가 이루어진 후에, merge 방식으로 가면 어떨까 합니다.
