Bitwarden desktop client does not update item information on screen, after an updated item is saved #13320

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to the items list and select an item
  2. Click on the Pencil icon to edit the item
  3. Make a change to one of the item fields
  4. Click on Save icon to save the change

Expected Result

The change just made, should be visible on the item, immediately after save.

Actual Result

The change just made, although saved, it is not visible on the item.
In order to view the change just made, you have to either select another item and then select the edited item again, or re-enter edit mode and click on Save or Cancel button to update the view.

Additional Context

The bug was introduced in version 2024.11.0 and persists until now (version 2025.1.4)
The last working version (without the bug) is 2024.10.2

Direct Download (from bitwarden.com)

Build Version

All versions from 2024.11.0 to 2025.1.4 have the bug.

Hello @EmmanuelIT,

Thank you for reporting this. This sounds identical to this existing GitHub thread; there's already a fix for this in the pipeline, and hopefully it'd be released in the near future.
