how did you implement the writing of the character? was there already a resource for this or was this manually done? the kakugo.xml houses the data about the stroke right?

The algorithm is handmade, it's not very smart, it just make sure that you are not too far from the actual strokes. As for the stroke data, it comes from KanjiVG.
