Feature Request: Bulk Renewal with Co-Term Expiry Dates

Summary

Enable users to renew multiple ENS names in one transaction and set them all to the same expiration date.

Description

Currently, renewing multiple ENS names requires separate transactions or does not allow aligning expiration dates. This feature would improve user experience by:

  • Allowing users to select multiple names.
  • Specifying a common expiry date (e.g., "Extend all selected names to Jan 1, 2027").
  • Paying a single fee for all renewals in one transaction.

Potential Implementation

  • Either as a separate dApp focused on bulk renewal or as a new tab in nameful.
  • Smart contract function to extend multiple names and align their expiry dates.
  • UI to input multiple names and select a target expiration date.

Context

This was previously discussed but hasn't been implemented yet. The request formalizes the idea and adds it to the backlog.
