to export, build a zip file with a hierarchical structure of the product, with file semantics.
something like

product1
- product-metadata.json
  - users, description, ...
- component2/
  - component-metadata.json
    - description, ...
  - property1/
    - property-{ruleName}-metada.json
    - property-{ruleName}.value
