[BUG] Cannot start 1.8.15+1 on Windows 11

Current Behavior

App does not launch. Instead, crashes with the following error:

Expected Behavior

App should launch.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Download .zip version of app (1.8.15+1)
2. Extract and launch wsl2distromanager.exe
3. Issue is reproduced

Environment

- Windows Version: Windows 11 Enterprise (10.0.26100.2314)
- WSL Distro Manager Version: 1.8.15+1
- WSL Version: 2.3.26.0
- Source: ZIP release

Anything else?

Version 1.8.14 launches just fine.

On Windows 11 Pro 24H2, 1.8.15+1 would launch a blank window and close itself in short time

It doesn't print anything to %HOMEPATH%\AppData\Roaming\com.bostrot\WSL Distro Manager\wslmanager_01.log. In fact, the file isn't even created.

1.8.14 can still be launched normally, so it seems something is wrong with 1.8.15+1 version.

Yes，I encountered the same situation. I found #265. In this issue, I noticed that I have the same problem as eduardotv did. In the Microsoft “Event Viewer”, there is a Program Crashes Report for WSL-manager, which indicated that the "MSVCP140.dll" causing the problem.
I tried to set up the flutter development environment and build&run the project, The version 1.8.15 can run and work well in debug mode. This might imply that the problem lies in the released "MSVCP140.dll".
