Sorting and Grouping setting are not applied to galleries (restart needed) #932

Describe the bug

Changing the default sorting and grouping in the settings menu

does not reflect the changes in the actual gallery view

Only after a restart of the container are the setting applied.

Unsure if it is really a bug or something else.
