Alias stopped showing even when zoomed in #51
Comments
Can you test it in another Knowledge base? from my side, it works as expected. If it does not work even in another one, please reply in this thread Thanks |
Hey! Thanks for responding. I'd just tried it on Firefox and it's actually a lot worse. Alias simply don't show up, no matter if the cursor is in the rem title (while not focused). In Chrome (webapp), Alias appear with the cursor in the rem title, when is not focused on but is expanded. They also appear if, when focused in a rem, I put the cursor in the title and then go down with keyboard arrow. I don't use the Desktop app, though. |
Hey there,
That is the expected behavior. Unfortunately I didn't make the cursor jump feature right now. But stil anyone can make a PR for the feature. I'm currently somewhat busy right now so looking forward someone to make the feature! Anyway, if it works in chrome, edge, or desktop, it might be the firefox browser compatibility issue. Thanks |
Oh, I'm sorry, I meant zoomed in (I mean inside the rem or document), not focused. I believe, until a few days ago, when I was zoomed into a rem or document, the aliases were constantly showing (collapsed or expanded, as they were in the document). They disappeared from that view, only showing if I get to them with the keyboard cursor (when I'm focused on the rem, but not zoomed in, if the keyboard cursor is in the title of the rem, the aliases show, I don't need to move to the aliases to appear). Hope that clarifies it. |
Can you test it again? I did a fix for recent case |
Again, thanks for responding. I really like your plugin, is so useful it really should be native. I just checked and sadly is still acting the same way. I hope you can find the bug! |
Unfortunately, in my memory, this bug appeared after the launch of the new table, and the team started allowing this separation action between parent REM and their aliases, like this. CN63TRgWSLb7Pox3hQY4J.mp4Often, I can't figure out the implicit meaning of the restrictions in the editor. It might be a bug or another step in adopting a new feature. Thanks for cheering me up! |
Ohh, I understand, that's sad. I hope this can be resolved soon, but is still better than the default (I use a lot of aliases! Hahaha). Thanks a lot for your contribution, I really appreciate it! |
Well, I guess the title describes it well enough. I believe that is not the way it's supposed to work.
