make their software and business processes interoperate with linked data and semantic web technologies.
The focus is on peer production, and the observation that open source projects, and really any project,
s5) (eispp_introabcgv_edit)
consists of outputs and parts of other projects. This mockup aims to explore how to merge disparate projects in an effective way and have the contributors of these projects be properly compensated in order to form a functional economy.
s6) (eispp_intro_edit)
This mockup is called EISPP, or Enterprise Information System for Peer Production. It is intended to be installed in instances on the web, in the same way that you would download and install and instance of MediaWiki, the software powering Wikipedia. These instances are intended to interoperate with each other through linked data. This data is also meant to be machine understandable with semantic web technologies. Its various parts, such as views and applications, are meant to be extensible through modules, like Drupal does.
The interoperability of the data, coupled with addition of web payments aims to make a functional economy.
