Hi Brenton, thanks for your work on zotero-shortdoi. I was wondering if, as part of your next version, it could be possible to keep both DOI versions in a record. This enables the user to find items by either long or short DOI from Zotero's search box.

From your conversation at #10 it seems you are planning to introduce a shortDOI: field so it seems keeping the DOI: field along could be an option.

Yes, the plan is to keep both.
