Epic Information - List of All Projects

Summary

• Compile all projects that are under construction or underfunded into one list.

Research required:

• Fill out DDP6 and DDP8 to figure out what columns to include (goal is have the most detailed/comprehensive project list as possible).
• Extract projects from CTIPS/LP2000.
• Harmonize all the information. Project titles can be called "project_name" or "project_title" and need to be renamed.

Create new columns

• Pick up keywords from the project title, description, and lists. Categorize the keywords based on the metric it belongs to, as not each project will have to go through the same scoring.
• Flag whether a project is partially funded or not.
• Flag whether a project has enough information -> count the number of strings in a project description and count the number of zeroes and nulls.
• Categorize projects to comprehensive phases. Projects vary in their complexity of phases and some projects from Long Range Transportation Plans are vaguely scoped.
• Apply metric scores to this list based on whatever category it falls under.
