Motivation

The Header component really needs to be rethought, primarily on mobile. On mobile currently, there is a button in the top right corner that triggers a drawer pop-down. I like the drawer concept a lot, and want that to stay. I'm thinking instead of the button, we can have a sticky bar at the top that contains a tiny bit of info, alongside an arrow button that triggers the drawer pop-down.

Currently, the entire blog site is using a different header component than the rest of the sites pages, which is a problem for many reasons (harder to maintain, non-cohesive user experience, etc.), so these need to be unified. The blog's header also has no links to the rest of the site—only a link to the main blog site and a theme toggle.

To Do

  • Redesign Header component
  • Unify blog site header with header used on rest of site
