Kitten Scientists believes Leviathan energy is capped at (5 + 5*Markers), and will stop feeding them at that point.

However, this is incorrect. With 48 Markers, my Leviathan energy is capped at 282, not 245.

I do not know what the source of this discrepancy is, as it is not listed on the kittens game wiki. My first guess would be that it is connected to the reward for the Black Sky challenge.

Oh wait I forgot, the Necrocracy policy increases the energy cap by 5%.

... Still something unaccounted for, though.

62 markers, no Necrocracy, the script stops at 315/346.

Save-hacking to 1000 markers gives an energy cap of 5505.

Hacking in ridiculous quantities of other related items does not change the value.

Hacking out completion of the Black Sky challenge drops it to 5005.

It seems that the Black Sky reward multiplies your effective quantity of Markers by 110%.

That seems to be everything accounted for.

Update: Now that repeating challenges exist, Markers increase the energy cap by .5 per completion of Black Sky, with diminishing returns kicking in at 15 runs (7.5) and capping it at 10 total. source
