Workflow for migration?

Anyone have success installing on an existing Magento install with an existing CM list separate and not sync'd? Need to sync up everything without corrupting the lists as well as transition from Mandrill to CM for transactional email.

If you could share your workflow for making that happen as well as any pitfalls to watch out for would be great.

Hey there, I work at Campaign Monitor. The best way to do this might be to...

1. Export/Download your CM list as a backup.
2. Connect CM and Magento
3. Sync your Magento data to the CM list (either new or the one you downloaded in step magento update 1.0.2 #1).
   3.1 When we sync data from Magento to CM we add new custom fields where we write data from Magento. We do not overwrite any existing data in a CM list.

Thanks for taking the time to write. I'm checking in on this but I'm still left with more questions than answers. As you're the only person to reply so far and there are still no reviews anywhere, maybe you can help.

Is there any support for resolving conflicts? Say Account has different name than CM listing, what happens?

Text transform on the name fields? Proper and Trim

Once it is syncd from Mage to CM, can we still edit/update in CM?

When customer updates Preference in CM (like email) does this update Magento? When updated in Mage does this update in CM or create a new record?

It Transactional Email service for magento reliable?

Have a few weeks left to make this transition or bail till next year. Any additional advice greatly appreciated
