I have a 2016 MacBook Pro with a live Debian install (using respin in a VM) that I made that has the driver. However, I cannot use my keyboard or trackpad can someone help me?

Can you please provide a bit more information?! Is the driver properly loaded? What's your kernel configuration? etc.

@33masterman33 any update? Did you get the driver working in the end?

Hey guys, this fork (https://github.com/roadrunner2/macbook12-spi-driver) of the repo works out of the box (for the touchbar functionality), just the same dkms setup as required to get the keyboard functionality working on this cb22 repo.
