PGS accuracy:

  • There are a lot of other things that can affect the PGS accuracy. The imputing quality affects how reliable the genetic variants used in the PGS are and thus its accuracy. Another thing that tends to make the PGS inaccurate is the way the phenotype is measured between the training and test cohorts as they could be measuring the phenotypes in a different way. Similarly, if the phenotype doesn’t have a clear cut, it can be hard to determine groups (0.5/2).
