What is a Battle?

Problem

We know we want battles but what are they?

Pieces

• 1v1
• Winner & Runner-Up (no loser Kappa)
• Something the user to can do to increase their chances of winning (Straight EPvsEP not fun)

Ideas

• 1v1 Pokemon-esk match
• Emotemon type?
  • Why?
    • To enable bonus damage and skill
  • How?
    • Color == Type (e.g. More green is earth) << No, because most are skin color
    • Category system: described below
• Chat can affect battle outcome?
  • Might create _too_ much spam

Category system?

Instead of types have 3 categories human, animal and thing with a rock paper scissors-esk weighting system. E.G. preferred match-ups give you a 1.5 times damage bonus.

Match-ups

• humans beat animals >> We are the sentient species!
• animals beat things >> They eat anything and everything...
• things beat humans >> I got to have that new StinkyCheese ;)

Clasification

• humans >> head emotes e.g. Kappa & TheThing
• animals >> the animals e.g. FrankerZ & Mau5
• things >> food & things e.g. NomNom & duDudu

Stretch

• You could always have opposite day (changes beat order)
