Private

We build an site similar to a private Eventbrite which allows users to create events and then manage user signups. Users can create events and send invitations and parties .

System dependencies

rails 6.1.7 yarn 1.2.2 node 14.15.5

Configuration

Set up project using the above specifications

For HTTPS

• use https://github.com/chrystalme/private-events.git to clone the repository

For SSH

• use git@github.com:chrystalme/private-events.git to clone the repository
• Change to the parent directory of the project using cd private-events
• run bundle install to install dependencies
• run yarn add to install dependencies
• run rails db:migrate to create schema
• use rails webpacker:install to install webpacker
• use rails s to run the rails server
