Worker Scan Interval

I am trying to figure out how to get my HDD's to spindown while using papermerge.
After deploying papermerge to a docker container and setting up the volumes as follows:

• SSD: papermerge.db; /data
• HDD: /media; /import

My HDD is getting written to every 30 seconds. The writes stop as soon as I shutdown the papermerge container. I can't figure out what papermege would be writing to my HDD every 30 seconds, with the DB on the SSD. Also, no documents were in the process of being imported, this was a clean install of the latest dockerfile, but I'm guessing it's the worker that's doing this. (Docs say that the worker checks every 30 seconds)

Anyone have any success attempting to get their HDD's to spindown while running papermerge? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
