Description

Adding scancode LicenseRefs are a major change to ClearlyDefined. As such, there needs to be an announcement to the community so they expect to see them in their data and understand what they mean and how they can get more information.

Planned announcement process:

  • write blog post
  • add documentation
  • make announcement in all communication channels
  • include details in release notes for service and crawler
